Escobar Farms
Escobar Farms is located in Henry Co. I farm this 27-acre piece of property with my husband and three boys. We raise Angus beef and Berkshire hogs from baby to slaughter with non-GMO feed from Bagdad Roller Mills in Bagdad, Ky. Everything is raised without hormones too. I bake fresh breads and pies. I make jams and jellies from homegrown products or picked wild (which we all know are better). We also have mostly free-range chickens which means the only time they are perimetered off is during garden time so they still have free range of all the bugs and grass just not my garden. We always have a good-sized garden so we can provide the community with the freshest vegetables available.

Faewood Farm
Faewood Farm is where my wife Kathleen and I live in Henry County. When we moved here in 2005 we planted fruit trees and blackberry bushes, and established garden beds. Over the years we’ve put in over seven-thousand square feet of flower beds, with many of the plants being grown for pollinators. We grow vegetables, fruit and herbs for our own use, canning, freezing or drying as much as we think we will need for ourselves or to share with family and friends. After retiring I expanded my beekeeping operation, generating a surplus of honey over what we could use or gift, so we decided to sell what was left over. We do not plant vegetables specifically for the Farmers’ Market, but share what we don’t use ourselves; so if I sell it to you it’s the same as what will be on my table. Faewood Farm is a member of Kentucky Proud and Homegrown by Heroes.
